LeadU presents Series III 1-Minute Dailies Day 0

Leadership University

Development for Leaders
Series III
1-Minute Daily Microcasts
Day 0
Welcome to LI

Thanks very much for being here as an audience and perhaps a VIP participant while enjoying our LIVING INQUIRY DAILIES.

Over time and a long learning career which hasn’t seemed to slow down, I’ve realized that spaced repetition is one of the sure ways to learn deeply.

The dailies are designed to give you a microburst of info with which to make and keep connections that are important to the subject matter here.

Since all of us learn a bit differently whether it’s the experience, reflection, conceptualization and/or experimentation including all those unique combinations, it’s important to find that sweet spot where learning comes easier.

In this series of microcasts, you will find the core constructs of Living Inquiry (LI) and the network of functions that create the core of the methodology.

If at any time you have comments, questions, ideas or feedback, it’s my pleasure to entertain them at www.LeadU.com/comment.

So let’s get started with a bang and start with these 7 easy to learn skills we use in LIVING INQUIRY: (In no special order)

• Ping Insight
• Probe Assumptions
• Prompt Action
• Permit Story
• Perturb Certainty
• Pause and Breathe
• Pace Change

That’s it!

That’s all you need to practice, and you will hear about them over and over as I offer you reasons why meeting people where they are is THE challenge, we have in the helping business.

Welcome, and let’s talk tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Mike

Mike Jay
