[ABCs] N: SK+ Portfolio Suggestions
LeadU SK+ L&LI Microcasts:
A daily 1+ minute “conscious” read.
‘The present is the past rolled up for action, and the past is the present unrolled for understanding.’ — Ariel Durant from her edit of LESSONS OF HISTORY (1968).
The ideal portfolio I’ve found contains the following assessment models in no particular order or importance as they are in reality a “network” of energy and information:
- Learning Styles
- Strengths
- Inborn Desires (Motives)
- Behavioral Tendencies
- Type Dynamics & Preferences
- Attitudes & Patterns
- Conflict Modes
- Trait & Energy Intensities
- Archetypes
Caveat: you can learn most of this information through structured interviews, study and subsequent interpretation and reflection usually at high costs and risks of bias.
BUT I’ve just found a CAPTSEE* approach with assessments easier, less expensive, more differentiated — often free from single interpreter bias risks.
Bottom-line?
Many roads lead to Rome but the assessment road is more efficient, effective, and sustainable IMHO.
In the next series of ‘casts, I’ll summarize in 1+ minute reads what each offers but our next microcast outlines the OPPOR+UNITY waiting for us in conscious interaction with our self and others.
Mike
PS: Each of us will usually identify more with a particular area of assessment and use the portfolio results to confirm or expand the OPPOR+UNITY for understanding… and design.
* CAPTSEE: Considerate, Appreciative, Positive, Thoughtful, Sustainable, Efficient and Effective approach. (Generati).
