I’ve continually made reference to OPPOR+UNITY and haven’t as yet told you what it is other than its inherent meaning. Here’s what I mean with the acronym.

As an interaction model used at the center of the COACH2 SYSTEM, it becomes a core process to guide helping interactions towards fulfillment of Connection, Clarification and Commitment to enable:

  • People
  • Things
  • Ways
  • Spacetime
  • Pace
  • Reasons
  • Results
  • Well-Being
  • …to help people have lives.
OPPOR+UNITY is both an acronym and always an option in a solution-resistant world… a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous or VUCA World.

While it’s a play on words, INQUIRY lies at the heart of OPPOR+UNITY.

You will soon see how powerful and enabling the model can be when it’s coupled with INQUIRY and more particularly with Self-Knowledge.

It is — in and of itself — a Problem Solving Approach (PSA) and can evolve into a Problem Solving System or PSS if used over and over.

OPPOR+UNITY arises from our PSA (Problem Solving Approach) and the PME (Problem Management Errors) inherent in each of our PSS’s (Problem Solving System’s).

With that said…

SK+INQUIRY reveals our unique PSA with it’s likely PMEs as it becomes a durable PSS over time which guide our life design.

Why is this OPPOR+UNITY?

Forming an objective relationship with a (yours and others) PSA, PME, PSS instead of being subject to them, is a key link to increased self-awareness and self-motivation.
It allows us to design and to know what to say YES and NO to as we meet situations which are great for us and avoid those that create our worse failures.
