[ABCs] V: Traits (Intensity)
LeadU SK+ L&LI Microcasts:
A daily 1+ minute “conscious” read.
Trait: (noun) a distinguishing characteristic or quality, especially of one’s personal nature: OTHER WORDS FOR trait: peculiarity, mark, attribute, property.
Trait instruments come in many forms and attempt, IMHO, the yeoman’s work of wrestling with the intensity rather than (type) clarity of behavioral preferences.
I do have favorites and the industry of psychology says that if you’re going to
use traits the BIG FIVE is the ticket.
It’s described by 5 cornerstone traits that have been chosen by psychologists around the world as the 5 key traits which use the acronym:
OCEAN:
- Openness
- Conscientiousness
- Extraversion
- Agreeableness
- Neuroticism
Before this proclamation and research, other 4-box systems emerged which are also very helpful to include, and all relate to the DiSC in some form.
In SK+INQUIRY, you will be exposed to both.
