MJ: Osnat, Mike Jay. Nice to meet you. I know we’ve never met in person. At least I don’t think we’ve met in person so this is our first virtual contact. But at least I can see you so that is one benefit over the telephone coaching that we used to do. We couldn’t see people. And now technology allows us to look right at each other and notice our non-verbal cues.

Is there something that you find important to talk about in the next minute?

OL: Yeah. You know, I am going to New York tonight to deal with a long-term procrastination item that I’ve had a storage unit there for since 2004 and I’m finally bringing it over to Seattle. So, this is a point of celebration.

MJ: [3.5 seconds] Does that bring anything up for you?

OL: I’m a natural procrastinator and I… One of the things that they have here is that I told about this to enough people to embarrass myself into action. So that makes it important for me.

MJ: Natural?

OL: Natural procrastinator.

MJ: Can you say more about that?

OL: I do it without effort. And a [laughter] with some guilt. But without effort. I need a lot of time to think about these things before I actually act on them. So, to some people it looks like procrastination. Even to me.

MJ: [2.5 seconds] Is that the story you are happy with?

OL: It’s a pretty good story. I have found ways around it when it becomes a problem.
